Data Diagnostic — 2 to 6 weeks
For: a business where nobody can answer “what would it actually take?”
A short, fixed-scope assessment that produces a document an investment committee can act on.
- Current-state map: systems, flows, ownership, and the dependencies nobody documented
- Target architecture sized to the business, not to a vendor’s reference diagram
- Prioritised roadmap with costs, sequencing, and what breaks if you delay
- A candid read on which AI use cases are fundable now and which are theatre
Typical triggers: post-close Day 100, TSA exit planning, a stalled data programme, or a CIO who wants a second opinion before committing budget.
Advisory retainer
For: a leadership team that has the plan and wants someone who has done it before in the room while they execute.
Ongoing steer at executive and board level: architecture decisions, vendor selection, governance design, hiring the data team, and holding the roadmap honest when the quarter gets hard. Typically one to two days a month.
